Scrunching hair

Just wondering if anyone with straight fine hair manage to be able to scrunch dry it so it looks a bit "bed head"?

I'm trying to let my hair grow & want to do different things with it so that I don't get fed up & get it all chopped off again.

I don't really want to use a hair dryer, I prefer to let it dry naturally.

I use the Umberto Giannini sea salt spray (cant remember its exact name), which gives me the bedhead look! Its not very MSE though (about £5), I got it in a gift set at christmas, but I'm sure you could whip one up easily!

I've got fine hair, and have found that if i put a lot of leave in conditioner spray on my hair after washing, comb through then go straight to bed with wet hair, I wake up with lovely bed hair!! has to be very wet, and i use a lot of conditioner to prevent frizzyness!!

Sea salt spray is pretty good for giving hair a beach look!
  • I've made some salt spray & if it works ok, I'll invest in a shop bought one :)

Mines the total opposite of your hair type. Have you tried the Tigi Bedhead range? They do some great texturisers for whatever look you're trying to achieve.

I twist my hair round and clip it up then leave it to dry, gives me a lovely tousled just out of bed look and it doesn't cost a penny!
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!

My hair isn't long enough to do that yet.
  • Has anyone else made their own salt spray?
  • This is perhaps a silly qu....but how did you make your own salt spray?

My hair only does straight...I'd love a bed head tousled look...

Any one else used the umberto stuff?!

    xx

  • I basically had a search on the internet & found plenty of different ways of making salt spray.

I made one but didn't use hair gel (as some sites recommended). It has worked quite well considering it's my first go at it.

I'm going to get some hair gel & try it see if it makes any difference.
