Well when my bank have decided to charge £5 for going more than £10 overdrawn, authorised or not, this will be great.

I will now be able to afford that loaf of bread and pint of milk just before payday without incurring a £5 charge._party_
  • Time for a £5 coin.
  • it is very annoying to pay for something priced at £2 with a £10 note and receive eight pocket-ripping fat pennies as change. happens all too often these days.

so this must be a good thing.

    you were robbed mate ;)

Last thing we want is more coins, there's 8 different UK coins already! (9 if you include the various different special edition £5 coins).

£2 coin first introduced 1986 (RPI Index was 100)

RPI Index now 229, making £5 coin worth about £2.18 at 1986 values.

So about time! Special version for Olympics?

The userers and money changers have no alternative but to continue down the path to damnation. All those with finances based in debt will follow along behind, singing their songs and laughing until they fall into the depths of despair when it all falls in on them.
