Hi all
Dont know whether this is any good to anyone, but we are currently re doing our bathroom and i purchased an aqualisa shower from these guys http://www.h-i-e.co.uk/index.html and i got a free switch than can turn the shower off from a different room. And the goods arrived 24hrs after ordering so well chuffed.
all ive got to do now is get the hubby to get on and fit it :rotfl:
hope this helps someone.

Why would you need to do that? Just curious0

I think the idea is to get the shower running and warming up while you're getting undressed? Have seen something like this where you can set it to a desired temperature and it tells you when it's warmed up and ready - good for the elderly/whellchair users or kids perhaps?0

I've got a similar shower and they are hot virtually as soon as you switch them on. No wonder they are giving the switches away, they are pointless and a waste of energy and water too.0

To get your teenage son out of the shower when he's already been in there 15 mins? Why would you need to do that? Just curiousPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

my 11 yr old spends at least 45 mins in the shower hes a nightmare, we have 6 of in the house if we all took that length of time in the shower it would take at least 5 hours for everyone to get washed crazybest win in 2011:eek: 4 nights in Las Vegas
2011 wins £8,752.000 -
would be handy as my daughter is a nightmare in the shower lolTop wins - £10,000 lottery/daily mirror, £5000 asda vouchers, £1000 washing machine, 2 week canaries cruise, VIP trip to the olympics, 46" 3D TV, personal chef, kitchen aid mixer, £1000 tesco vouchers - latest prize £10,000 road trip with kit Kat0

Surely every shower fitted these days has an isolation switch in another room by law? My question is £75 for a switch every one I've seen has been a simple 45 amp Dual pole switch from B&Q or another DIY chain and they're only £13.98
Anyway I done some reading and it seems like the switch is an extra swicth for the aqualisa shower range - so you need to buy the right shower and they throw in a part that is specifically for the shower.
for anyone else looking for a switch for their shower get an electrician and a visit to your local DIY superstore and it will probably work out cheaper0
