Non-Floral/Manzanita centrepieces

Hi all,
My wedding is fast approaching! and I am stuck for ideas for table centrepieces.
I am not overly keen on having floral centrepieces so have been looking at alternatives. Many alternatives are candles but as yet I am not sure our venue would allow this.
I saw a picture of manzanita branches here (sorry cant post links yet): pics.classifieds.weddingbee.com/143911.939598040_WjkKU-M.jpg
I really would like to do something similar but it appears these branches are only mainly available in USA and not so common here.
Can anyone suggest anywhere to purchase these or something similar?
Or even some other suggestions for non-floral centrepieces.
Much appreciated
JJ

I think the easiest idea would be to find a florist and have a chat and see what they can come with. Good luck!0

Like Laura said, it would probably be easier to have a chat with the florist, alternatively they do look like you can do them yourself, looks like a branch with pretty things stuck onto it.
Not sure what your theme or budget are, but off the top of my head these are the things I can come up with:
Fish bowls filled with water, with a flower on the bottom / filled with anything of your choice, even nice-looking sweets that can also act as a snack
Pots of herbs that double up as wedding favours
Driftwood
Fruit - cut up nicely and put into bowls
If you google for "unusual centerpieces" then loads come up, or if you want I will have a look at the links I've got saved when I get home0
