3ds - preorder prices

Hi
I have pre-ordered a 3ds from Comet (I have a £200 comet voucher) but I am now concerned that the selling price is still £219 there despite almost every other retailer dropping to the £187/197 mark.
I have looked at the comet price guarantee and understand that it's as long as the other stores have the item in stock that they will match the price. My concern is that on Friday (release date) the other local stores will have sold out.
Does anyone have any similar experiences? Do you think Comet will drop their prices to match asda/tesco automatically on release date?
With the difference in money I could almost buy a game!

A friend of mine put together this 3DS Pre-order guide (google "3ds pre-order gamepeople" to view it), that covers not just the price but other things you should consider as well.
I think it is likely that stock will be depleated after lunch - something that actually benefits the Nintendo hype like ti did on the Wii. Certainly the price war we see now isn't likely to continue.
The danger is in being forced into buying a 3DS in a bundle you don't actually need - inflating the price as described my my friend.0 -

Hi boltonangel
I can confirm that providing the Nintendo 3DS is in stock in one of the stores we price match with and we have it in stock, we will offer a price match on the product itself. I realise that stock is going to be in high demand on the release date, so if you are looking to purchase on the 25th of March, I would advise visiting your local store as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Unfortunately, if the product is out of stock in our store or the store you wish to price match with, we would be unable to provide a price match. I've provided you with our price match policy below.

Hope this helps
