Cost differences moving from Scotland to England

I am moving from Scotland to England.

However I am concerned about any hidden cost differences I may not have discovered between them such as the dental costs etc.

I would appriciate it if anyone could let me know if I might have missed any defferences.

Differences found so far:

council tax and water rates are seperate.
Dental costs and prescription costs are greater.

    Hospital car parks aren't free. (If I remember rightly, Nicola Sturgeon fought for this)

    eta. Nor are Forestry Commission car parks :rotfl: (sorry, used to work for them. Made sure I kept the "staff" sticker for the car when I moved south!)

    MSE: many of the benefits of a helpful family, without disadvantages like having to compete for the tv remote
