How often have they charged you? Any relevant paperwork? Is it at the end of a fixed rate?
We could do with more info pleaseFeb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
September 2016 - Back into clearing a mortgage - Was due to be paid off in 32 years in March 2047 -
April 2018 down to 28.00 months vs 30.04 months at normal payment.
Predicted mortgage clearing 03/2047 - now looking at 02/2045
Aims: 1) To pay off mortgage within 20 years - 20370 -

why does Halifax bank charge me £175 every two years on top of other charges on my tracker morgage.
Arrears charges maybe? Late payment charges? Only guessing as you havent given any details and the only reason you would have charges is if you are not paying the mortgage on the due dates or you have bought new deals and had the fees added to the mortgage.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
