Where to save £££'s short term?

Following my being gazumped a few weeks ago, and having to move into rented accommodation this weekend.

I will next week have the equity in our house, a six figure sum of money to invest / save.

Where would be the best place ?

Criteria -

Monthly interest, which I will use towards the rent.

Easy access, with no penalties for withdrawing the lot, which I will need to do when we find another house.

I only have until Monday to tell the Solicitor where to send it.
........... so setting up an account with Icesave would probably take too long.

I have an account with ING, so am tempted to put the lot in there (hassle free !)

Given that you are pressed for time and don't want any missed days with that amount of money, I think you've probably worked out the best course of action yourself .
