Ok, I'm confused - can someone help me understand?!
I sailed through last week's tasks, they were great. I come on this week & find the same stuff again only 2 or 3 days later - my stairs don't need vacuuming after 2 days, my bedroom windows don't need cleaning after 3 days ...
I s'pose I was expecting different tasks each week, maybe on a monthly rotating basis - Am I missing the point?
The idea is that you start off having to do loads, then week on week it gets easier until you can flip round that room in 20 mins and then have the rest of your time for YOU!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Hi all.
Well, most of today's list is taken care of, but I need to spend a l-o-n-g time doing the dusting, to get all the sanding dust out of everything, so will do that when I've posted.
Posting list as it stands, so that I can delete and see exactly what's left for me to do.
Tuesday ~ Master Bedroom & LandingLevel 1
Declutter the floor Done
Remove and wash bed linen. Done Saturday
Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Wash windows and nets/curtains Curtains are on my Toots list (need Mr LW's help); No nets.
Vacuum and turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen Done Saturday
15 minutes floordrobe clearance No floordrobe here!
Level 3
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing Done – Mr LW did whole bungalow Saturday
Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed WIP – all on Toots list as help is required for trying on clothing
Sort through a box or bag of stuff you've not looked at in months.. I am certain you don't need most of it
Extras- Binbag dance Done last night (bin day today)
- Finalise the easter plan.. have you got craft bit to make bonnets? When is your parade? Eggs bought? N/A
- Binbag dance! Yes 2.. maybe do one for charity shop and 1 for the bin? WIP – we now have 2 charity boxes on the go; 1 for stuff they can sell in the shop and 1 for old towels type of thing for use with the animals
- Wipe grotty paintwork.. touch up any bits that are looking shabby
As you may know, I do paperwork (voluntary) for 2 organisations. Had an email today from District Manager for one of them, we have a volunteer (well actually it's a couple) to take on one of the 3 regions. This in itself is great news, BUT.... I have to meet them to hand over the stuff.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
They're prepared to come to MK apparently, so I've suggested we meet in a Real Ale pub I know to be wheelchair-friendly (there's NO WAY I can cope with having them to the bungalow). But I'm Absolutely Bl00dy Bricking It.:(:(:(:(
I haven't stopped shaking since I read the email, and am only just staving off a major panic attack/total meltdown.
I've suggested this weekend (Mr LW will be available and not On Call for his work) - just waiting to hear exactly when.
Yes, I know it's totally daft, but trust me, when you have a phobia, logic and common sense just don't come into the equation.:(If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Phew didnt get a house full
MiL stopped in to see Charlie and the dogs at the end but no kids in here.
AND and and - Apparently you can really tell how much I'm cleaning now! There's a real difference and it looks good! .... from the MiL!!!
So it MUST be good!
Okay I'm gonna have some lunch and then hit that bedroom.
Might also try to get all the windows done today.
Much nose art as more people get out and about as the weather warms up
LW - Do you want a kick up the bum and telling to get on with it? Or some understanding?
To be honest I can see it would be a bit scary, I'd struggle with that. But you got Mr LW there and he sounds like a superstarSo you'll be fine :T
Has anyone heard from JoJo yet? I'm curious how the gig wentI bet she loved it

OK.....still left to go....kitchen floor and table. My hob and the OUTSIDE of the oven is worthy of a flylady gold star.....but haven't done inside.
All downstairs ''posh room'' dusting and wiping done...just floors left.
Blimey. I might even get the utility level three'd this week.
Tomorrow I'm working outside all day, actual work...so won't do anything that don't have to in the house.:)0 -

Y'see, I have severe social phobia. I get very, very panicky even when Mr LW has his recently-divorced pal round for beer'n'gaming, and I've known said pal for 9 years!
I'm sure it stems from being told at every opportunity by my mother that I was a mistake, and I'd never be good enough, and I'd better not make my presence known because no-one would want to bother with me... etc, etc, yada yada yada; and yes, I know I should probably pull myself together... but it's just not that easy; I've battled with this for years, and it's getting worse as my lupus takes away more and more of my physical ability.
Lol, now you see why I'm happier in the company of canines than that of humans.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
LW - you'll meet these people because they need your knowledge and help and that's the kind of person you are. So even though it will be very scary, you know you'll be fine because you'll be giving them the benefit of your experience which is why they're making such an effort to meet you.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

LameWolf - I understand how you feel, I don't go out except to my mums for tea once a fortnight, (OH has to even put the bin out for me). I have spent the last 2 weeks feeling sick because I had to go into school to watch my DD2 do a dance, I was in the school for 15 minutes, felt very uncomfortable, but proud I managed to do it! OH has his nephew round once a week and I hide upstairs!
Haven't started on todays list as waiting for the postie and can't hear him if I'm upstairs, but all dailies done, so pleased about that.August wins: BBQ, Solar Garden Lights, Seeds0 -

I reckon juliejim has it right though
Right I've done the lunch thing, I'm all out of excuses.

LW we know you can do it and however tough it will be I know you'll cope. The sooner the better, or you'll have more time to worry. Have you ever read 'feel the fear and do it anyhow' or any of the Dr Weeks books? Have a hug and know that we will never ever judge you x
Moogie well done for going into school
