    Evening all

Not a bad start to the week, as I've caught up on some of the laundry and have done most dailies. I bullied DH into helping, as I am fed up with him lounging on the sofa, while I run round like a mad thing. He only did a few bits, but it made a difference. DS1 helped a bit, too.

DS2 and I are still feeling a bit under the weather, so I won't stay up late. It's my late day tomorrow (meetings/training 3-5) and I need to work out what I'm doing for tea before I go to bed.

Hope everyone's ok, as I won't read more than the last page of the thread until Friday.

    I HATE that job
As much as I hate packing???

Couldn't fit what I needed into the biggest of my small suitcases, so am using the smallest of my big ones (which is considerably bigger... bit still hand luggage size for transatlantic flights/expensive airlines). The problem with travelling on so many different airlines (3 this week, 2 next week) is that there is no standard size for luggage. Anyway, I probably won't wear half of what I'm taking, but I've got lots of stuff in case!

Have my passport, and have printed my boarding pass. Need to set the DW off  and stay up to empty it... might have a bath to pass the time. Packing has given me backache...

After I washed up today I knocked my mum's Kronenbourg pint glass over... She wasn't too angry about it thankfully but I've just her a new one off ebay anyways :)

I shall be flying high tomorrow wiping the kitchen walls.

So do I. I find Astonish paste good at the job though as it pouring a bottle of vinegar over it to slowly remove the scale.

I hate that more than the shower tray cleaning and just as much as you do :p Be blessed you don't have to pack for 4 (DH does his own and is a top packer)

Governors meeting was really really long and will now require a lot of research work. Just having a well earned glass of Isla negra and some corn chips.

I can't remember to be honest but I would have a look at DCC LEA website for the correct procedure. HTH

    ETA From DCC website:

Apply for a primary or junior school place
If your child was born between 1 September 2006 and 31 August 2007 your child will be eligible to start school in the 2011/2012 academic year. You should have applied for their school place by the closing date of midnight on Saturday 15 January 2011. The closing date has now passed but you can still make an application online (opens in a new window).
