Does it not work out the same price per pack though?
Buy 2 in Tesco for £9, same 2 in Asda is £6
Difference is £3 so DTD is £6. Taking it off the price paid in Tesco gives £3 for 2 packs, so £1.50 per pack.
The Tesco offer is 3 for £4.50, so £1.50 a pack.
I don't see the point in DTD for things that will work out the same price i the end.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Yes it does - it works out exactly the same price. There is not point whatsoever in buying this cheese for the DTD promotion. It works out at £1.50 either way and actually takes up your valuable voucher spends!
What is on offer, however, is the seriously strong. It's the proper 400g size. Go into Tesco, buy 10 of them for £30. Use the co-op voucher for £5 off £30 spend (see vouchers board). Pay £25 cash. Go home, freeze cheese (or keep it in fridge if you have 4 kids at home who live on the stuff like me). Put your receipt into Tesco's pricehceck. Get voucher back for 10 x £1 doubles - i.e. £20. Enjoy your 4KG of cheese for an effective cost of £5!
Hope this helps! :TI am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I agree - Cathedral and others have lowered the amounts in their bags and the taste of the lighter one is, well, rubbery anyway!I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
