If you are unable to prove "discrimination" on account of your pregnancy, then your next step will be to look for another job.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0

The reason given was due to lack of work but my workload has not changed.
What are my next steps if any?
By the time your notice expires you may find that your workload has reduced.
If it hasn't, someone with longer service than you may take up that work even if they are not doing the same work at the moment. It could be that their workload is less than it was and therefore the total amount of work required is less. There is nothing illegal about that.0 -
Why do you think it's descrimination? Others have also been given notice. You are on a temporary contract so it was never likely to last as employers now like to keep terms below 12 months these days to avoid some employment laws.:hello:0

wish someone had quoted the OPThe Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

The OP wrote very little... from memory, she had job on temp contract (only there a few months) and had been given notice. Two other people also received notice. Notice given only a couple of weeks after she told them she was pregnant.
I expect she has gone off in a huff because we didn't all grab our pitchforks, form an outraged mob and go in fighting for her.:hello:0
