It's the Electoral Office who recruit for polling clerks etc but I think they've already advertised this year.
Here is their website which has a recruitment page.0 -
Think they have them all as a friend of mine does it and he had a training morning on Saturday0

The electoral office tend to advertise once every couple of years for casual staff for elections and retain a list for future use for 2 years. If they are short of staff they may advertise again but at this stage I think the staffing for this year is all confirmed.
Its not as easy money as it used to be as they now require you to attend training before the event and that is also covered by the payment for the day.
Count staff are now tested to ensure they can achieve the required speed and accuracy,
Keep an eye on the website and give the advice line a call to see if they may need to recruite any last minute staff. Number os 0800 432 0712. As there are going to be Assembly and Local Council Polls and Alternative Vote referendum there may be a need for extra count staff. It won't be that regular work though - next election is unlikely to be for 3 years after these ones,John0 -

I got my letter to go onto the reserver list - guess this means I didn't get it this year again. They've already recruited; you will need to wait until there is another election before they readvertise.0
