It has 'serial number' on the form. I'd assume that you need to put in the serial number of the old meter....providing you had one,~~Peace~~0

You never know. Meters are given away like crazy, they make more money on the strips. I do love my OneTouch Ultra though.0

My OH gets his test strips on prescription from his doctor and as he's insulin dependant he has a medical exemption certificate so doesn't have to pay.descartesmum wrote:You never know. Too right, Roche sent me my last meter free when I called them just for a set of free replacement batteries for my old free one. I also got a free infra red device and software so I can load up all the results on to my PC (they didn't provide me with a free PC though unfortunately!). Great in one way but scandalous in another I guess - can't complain though, nice people

On the subject of Diabetes. they do them free at Lloyds Pharmacy
