I need a dentist either monday or tuesday, and haven't registered with anyone, but it's an emergency appointment, as a crown has fallen out, don't care how much it costs but I need someone asap, does anyone know anywhere that will take me early next week in the Belfast area?
The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.

There should be an emergency dentist in your local hospital, phone them and find out. A couple of years ago I had a filling come out and I went to the emergency dentist in Craigavon area hospital, it was a saturday afternoon when I phoned and they just said come in at 7pm and you will be seen on a first come first served basis. The dentist put in a temporary filling and it only cost £11.0

The Telephone Number is: (028) 9026 39920 -
I'm not sure if the hospital dental services will treat you as a crown coming out isn't considered an emergency. I overheard that while being treated at the City hospital one.0

A crown coming off is really no big deal, unless of course you are in pain (which is doubtful) - the dentist will just stick it back on - two minute job.0

Just been in Boots - they sell dental kits that include cement fixer - maybe that'd do the trick for a while? Until you get yourself registered at least.
Though that's supposing you didn't actually swallow your crown.....0 -
A crown recement is not considered an emergency and will not be seen within the hospital service but as you say you are willing to pay I am sure you will be able to find a dentist who will recement it for you as a one-off. No easy way to find someone though, you will just have to go through the yellow pages. You will need to ring as soon as possible in the morning to have any chance of being seen.0

That could be why she's asking for an appointment on Monday or Tuesday'! :rotfl:How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0
