Just been Visited by the Debt Collector!

I didn't want to open the door but I knew he would just keep coming back if i didn't! I kept getting letters and ignoring them, thinking it wouldn't happen but it did and now it has made me really upset. I was suprised at how nice the guy was but it made me realise that I need to start contacting my creditors and working out payment plans. The guy was for my secured loan and I know I need to catch up on my 2 missed payments because of the serious consequences but I am off work on Incapacity Benefit and cannot afford it. I have slipped behind on all the bills that you shouldn't do, ie the ones with serious consequences.
Anyway sorry for my ramblings and whn my head is a little straigheter and not so upset I will post a proper SOA and history. Just needed to ramble

Definitely do your SOA, then things can get moving and the knocks at the door can go away!

  • big hugs. Remember you have friends here xx
  • deal with your debts secured debts are very important do not ignore them get help to sort them out get down to the cab as well
  • If you have any unsecured debts, credit cards, bank loans etc. Stop paying them and pay the secured ones if you have enough money to do that. Payplan told me unsecured debts are not really that important, but secured debts, mortgages and household bill are.
