Tesco Direct have 3 televisions listed on their website, not bargain prices in themselves but there are double points AND an automatic addition of 3000 points .

Also because points are automatically added, use a code for an additional 500 points. Total 3998 points.

Eg. 32" Technika with Freeview ordered free to store:

£249 sale price - £120 approx in deals - 4% topcashback (approx £10) = very cheap tv @ approx. £120

Would only be £90 in deals now.

Now my post looks bad! Apologies for misunderstanding OP.

Sorry, didn't explain myself very well. :( Have amended 1st post to clarify better.

Add £249 tv to basket and it is worth 3498 points. 3000 extra + double points.

Add additional 500 points = 3998 points or approx £120 deals.

Different model. As mentioned by the OP there are only 3 different TVs that attract the bonus 3000 points and this is the particular one that costs £249 - http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-5696.aspx - Technika 32-2000 32 inch Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV with Freeview HD

The deals money isn't cash - you're right - but lots of us use the deal tokens instead of cash to buy days and meals out, holidays, driving lessons - the list is endless (well not quite, but you know what I mean). :D
