Building Credit

Hi All,

If you have read some of my other posts you will know I am a few weeks away from clearing all my debts and being totally debt free : )

What I want to know though is now me and my GF will have no debts or credit what is the best and quickest way to start building our credit up.

Now with me it is probably not worth it as I settled an IVA about 16 months ago so that will e on my file for another 4 and a bit years so I presume my credit rating will be shot until that clears no matter what I do.

However my GF only has a defaulton her file which is about 3 years old I think so there may be a chance to improve hers.

Now I have and will be doing all the standard things like being on the electoral role, paying credit agreements on time like phone etc.

But is there anything else I could be doing to improve her rating.

We both have a credit card each which only has credit limit of 250 and 200 on the other and someone mentioned using that to the full and paying off in full every month would help which is what we do now. Will doing this help becasue if not I will cut them up as dont want to use them
