Settlement Offers

I wonder if anyone can give me advice.
I am in the process of sorting out settlement figures with my Payday Loans.
So far I have been successfully negotiating with them apart from a couple.
However one of them Pounds Til Payday sent my debt to Clarity and I have sorted a settlement figure with Clarity but on the email to me it says we can mark your payment as partially satisfied and not full as the debt is not actually theres. Does this mean once I pay the settlement figure to them the rest will go back to Pounds Till Payday and they will chase me for the rest or will that be the end of it.
Also in terms of settlement figures with Paydays are they a good idea or will they take the money and then start hounding me for the rest?
Thanks for any help

Partial settlement usually means you pay them a proportion of what is owed as FULL and FINAL settlement of the debt. Make sure that anything that is agreed is confirmed in writting by them and that it states FULL and FINAL SETTLEMENT. Others will be able to confirm this but unless they own the debt I am not sure if they can agree a partial settlement.0
