There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

I know Tesco had the powder on offer for £4 a tin last week and the week before because I stocked up on it but looking in my local Tesco today the offer has finished.

    Hi

I used to buy slim fast and moved to protein powder. (As I was fed up with being starving all the time on slim fast) I find it fills you up for longer and is cheaper. A large bag is only £21.00 and I drink 2 a day and it lasts me a over a month. (So probably costs between £3.00 to £4.00 per week)

    Hope this helps. :)

Superdrugs' own meal replacements currently 2 for £6.99 if that's any help? Usually £5.09 each.

Are they appropriate for meal replacement though? Slim fast has alot of added vitamins and minerals so you aren't making yourself ill.

Yes I find them very sweet though. I prefer the vanilla. They also do banana, strawberry, chocolate...the usual suspects!
Sorry, do you mean are they filling? I use them for breakfast and find them easier to digest and lighter than cereal etc. Have a banana mid morning and am ok until lunchtime. I try to have a low cal lunch then. Couldn't last until tea-time on just another shake and kept giving in and eating something that I shouldn't! So now if I'm alone at teatime I try to have one then. Good luck!
