Claires MFW diary

Been so inspired by other people diaries, have decided to post one of my own! I like the idea of getting rid in 100 payments, so that's going to be the target. Next month will be month 100, then I can count down after that. To do that, I need to overpay around £675 per month - eek! Doing well so far, but have ended up a bit skint this month :( first time in about a year that that's happened though, took my eye off the ball I think!

    Hi claire,

If you want to use "whathecost" to work out how much you will save in interest by reducing the mortgage from the "normal 25 years" down to 100 months.
We have done the same and are 64 months into our journey and we have saved well over £60,000
