Joint account loan

I am having trouble getting a small loan. I was just wondering if I would be more likely to get a loan for my joint account as my partner has a much better rating than myself?

Sorry just to add, obviously with the full consent of my partner, with the payments being made by me...just to clarify!

No as they will credit score you for the loan as well,my advice would be if your partner has a better rating than you tell them to get the loan.

Possibly you may be more likely to be accepted if his rating is better than yours and his financial position is better than yours. But if you are not already financially linked then this will link you and could bring down his credit file and make it harder for him to get credit in future.
It also depends if you are being refused because of something negative on your file or because of a lack of financial history.

Before you go ahead do you know why you are getting turned down yourself?
