Hey Folks,

I've just registered with Toluna, they gave me a few surveys to do, but I wasnt illegible for them. Does it take many many of these to find one you can actually participate in?

Yes, I’d like to know the answer to this also - I've registered with about 6 survey companies - but with one in particular, i have spent (collectively) quite a few hours answering Q's, only to be told at the end, that I am not eligible - very frustrating as I feel i am wasting my time! I'd like to be told before taking part. The message usually goes like this - Quote: ‘Unfortunately, even though this survey is not yet closed the quota which fits your profile is full.’ :(

Well looks like things never change with Toluna, it was one reason I left them years ago was answering question only to be told I didn't qualify, a very good reason not to use them or join them

I like Onepoll, as the surveys are short and it's usually only one or two questions before you are told you're ineligible. The downside is that they only pay tiny amounts like 5-20p, so it takes a while to get to the £40 payout amount.
  • I like Onepoll too. Most surveys are quite short and if you're able to check the website a couple of times every day you can get a couple of pounds a week. They pay out at £40 which is a nice amount to suddenly have in your bank account.

Valued Opinions is okay. Bad - you don't get paid much for the length of survey and often get screened out after answering lots of questions. It takes weeks for pending payments to actually be included in your total. Good - they pay out at £10 with various vouchers, I use the amazon one and treat myself which is nice.

MySurvey is okay too. I get screened out quite often but they sometimes give you a few points even when that happens. They have all sorts of rewards including paypal which is what I go for.

I'm also with panelbase who are quite good, they pay into your bank account at £10 but I don't get many surveys from them.

YouGov take forever - I'm almost half way to the £50 payout and I've been doing it for years! They rarely send me surveys but when they do they're quite easy. They do monthly surveys which are rubbish, they just give you entries to win a prize. I used to do them but I ignore those now and only do the paid ones.

I joined a few last year and some this year, including Toluna after hearing about it on here. and I have to say Toluna's been very good. This year I've made £75 (Toluna £30...and I've just sent for another £15 Debenhams gift card. £10 tesco card from Valued Opinions and £35 into my paypal from MySurvey). I've also received quite a few things to test...hand cream, 8 weeks dishwasher tablets, washing liquid and a choccie bar:T
Yougov is very slow...I'm up to 4175 points so hopefully I'll get a payout this year, then I'll quit doing it.
    GC - Oct £36.17/£31
    GC - Sep £35.56/£30:o
    GC - Aug £30.73/£31
    GC - Jul £30.80/£31
  • I've signed up to OnePoll and Valued Opinions, but MySurvey seems to be invite only/referal.

Thanks for all the good feedback.

I will stick with it for now and see how it goes in a month or so.

im registered with yougov, globaltestmarkets and valued opinions. Also going to do onepoll, what others would people suggest?

    thanks
  • I left Toluna today and was glad I could @ least donate my points to the Japan relief otherwise I would have had to forfeit them!!!

It was taking way too long for me to accumulate enough points as I don't have that much time AND I get screened out of most of them too ... Some when I'm already 3/4 of the way through!!

Anyway - I find Mysurvey the best - And they pay out quickly with Paypal :D

Am going to try and join Onepoll but site is down @ moment....
  • I think Toluna is good if you have the time to do all the sponsored polls. The points soon add up.
It takes me ages to get enough money to withdraw with Onepoll.
Recently joined Ipsos, hoping these will be good.
