Retitle the forum?

I wonder whether consideration ought to be given to renaming the forum.

It seems to me that more and more threads are being started for 'freebies' which actually require a spend of some kind! You know - 'free (with)' or 'free (when you buy)' etc etc.

Is it that people are dense or possibly that there is no other obvious forum for what is, in effect, a 'reduced price' situation?

How about making it gobsmackingly clear like 'Absolutely zero-spend freebies'... or would that not fit in the frame..?!

I see your point, if a little over the top in putting it across.

As one of the dense people who has posted the wrong thing in this forum, I suggest two forums; one for perfect people who obey the rules by the letter and one for those of us who occasionally make mistakes and don't want to be hung for it.
Maybe we all need to be a bit more tolerant of each others mistakes and not take it to seriously?

I thought that's what grabbit/vouchers boards were. Freebies is for freebies. Just like any forum people make mistakes but how much clearer can 'Freebies (no spend required)' be!?

The forum name was changed not long ago to stop people posting other spend required freebies

Some people do, and then get bashed because they have to buy a stamp or something. I have seen this board all to often become a battleground because it wasnt a completly free item.

It was actually mentioned in the arms that this is the worst board for people having a go.

    id agree with that wanty!

arguing on the pigsback thread ,cinema ticket thread an others is both shocking and quite amoooosing in a weird way lol

people accusing others of being greedy if they order more than 1 etc

never seen so many people get het up over a free product etc lol
  • I like the thread just the way it is.

I agree with wanty but I can't see that a name change will help. You'll get people who'll start arguments for the sake of it wherever you are... which presumably what this thread's all about!
