    Hopefully the Bank of England are reading this as well and no interest rate rises for the next few months/years!

    I hope the opposite, these whole housing problem was caused by to low interest rates.

    For a healthy economy we need higher interest rates which will stimulate savings which in turn leads to business investment.

    Lending will return to normal when house prices fall to affordable levels and banks have more people saving to fund mortgages.
