Brain training games

I am looking for a brain training game, but not one you need to use with a console.

I have seen something similar in Clintons card shop, for £12.99, but dont know what it is like.

Can anyone recommend something for me - just something to improve my brain power!!

Sorry I cannot help but I would be interested in what you find out. I like the look of the game on the nintendo DS but am not going to buy one just for that game.

I will keep watching this thread.

I have used my friend's DS lite for the brain training, and was stunned when I first used it to have a brain age of 80!! A couple of hours later I was down to about 40, but my brain says £100 is a lot to pay for a DS lite for this purpose (perhaps that means I don't need one?)

I only saw the one in Clintons briefly yesterday, so it may just be a kids toy.

If you have access to Excel, there is a free Excel "program" here. I haven't tried it myself, but may suit your purpose, and the price is right.

There are plenty of other interesting things too.
