Thanks for all the responses. In answer to some of the questions.
Yes, I am going on holiday soon so will need the shorts in the next month. The top was an impulse buy and will send it back as soon as it arrives. (Not sure it's even something I would wear and I've done that far too often...the clothes with the labels in my wardrobe will vouch for that!)
I need to close the Very account. I agree. It's too easy once it's on credit to not worry about it. Once I've sent this item back and paid this months bill I will close it!
Must be something in the air if I'm not the only one who's fallen off the wagon with a bump. But as mentioned already on here, we've felt guilty enough to post on here about it so that's something positive, right? We know we've been bad and need to get back on it. I am starting today, have just paid £150 to my cc bill. It was my £150 savings that i've been hanging onto for a rainy day and after reading all the advice on here about paying off debts with savings I've made the leap and have done it. (Knowing my luck the car will fall apart now and need something done to it....but I'll take the risk!):p

How about setting yourself the challenge of ebaying etc the clothes you have but have never worn and using that money to buy your new clothes with? Then you can buy clothes and not feel guilty!!!!

I love a good plan - it may not work.... but I love a good plan!
