Favour ideas for teenagers

We have the favours more or less sorted....miniature whisky bottles in aid of Cancer Research for the men and pretty boxes with two Thorntons choccies in for the ladies.
We have some teens at our reception (including my own two children - 15 and 17) who I know will not really want the above (and I'm certainly not giving the teen boys minature whiskies!!). I'm thinking of getting some smallish nice gift bags (in my colours) and putting a few bits in there (obviously will need to be slightly different for the boys/girls)....am stumped as to what I can put in them. Wonder if you lovely ladies can inspire me with some great ideas that aren't too babyish but yet age appropriate - not asking for much am I????

I've done gifts bags with books and colouring pencils for the younger kids and I've got the teens a notebook, free from Vistaprint that says 'Names Evil Plans' and all the kids have a creme egg and some sweets in the bag. The teens one is more a keepsake than to keep them busy IYKWIM?0

Thanks Charlotte....I wish it were younger kids as they are so much easier to buy for but teens!!!! My 17 year old son is no help - when I asked him for ideas I just get the usual "grunt" lol!!!!0

A packet of cigarettes and a can of Strongbow
On a serious note, girls might appreciate a lip gloss? Everyone likes lip gloss! Or a mobile phone charm? Boys are more difficult to choose for, maybe like katy54 suggested a keyring, these earphones are surprisingly cheap but I'm not sure boys would want pink ones! Not sure what your budget is, but this SAS handbook could be quite a laugh? Or one of them little Purple Ronnie books about something mildly rude?0 -

Ha ha ha!!!! Some great ideas here ladies - thank you SO much - I've now got some great ideas so the hunt can begin0 -
Lipgloss is a good idea for the girls.
Just think back to when you were a teenager.
I can't say I'd be too bothered by a pen oreyring back then, but lipgloss & chocolate would go down a treat.0 -
Will the teenagers actually care?...they are just so.."whatever"...they won't care.
My nephew will be 15..he is getting some snowflake bubbles, a candle cane on his glass, a bauble to put on his tree (at his mums) and bonbons (snowballs) (Christmas themed wedding)...I am not getting the kids anything different.
The younger ones (mine will be 3 and 8) will be getting a stocking with a colouring set in and some little toys.:jMarried on 12.12.12 to the best man alive! - FACT!:j0 -
Your favours are exactly the same as mine gillm66 and we have a 13 and 14 year old there. My neice is getting the same as the women, nice box with choccies in it, and for my nephew, I'm putting choccies in an empty miniature whisky box so it looks like he's getting the whisky IYSWIM. He'll be chuffed with that as he'll be getting (almost) the same as the men.0

I buy loads of make up bits from a website - can I name it? ( PM me if you want the name )Anyway, they have a HUGE 99p section which has lots of good brand names (max factor, loreal, collection 2000 etc), if you spend 5 pounds you get free delivery. There's plenty of lip glosses, eye shaddow pallets, nail varnishes on there. I was looking again this morning, I usually have a rummage through their cheap section every month and buy half a dozen new treats.0
