What am I doing wrong...Tips???

I've been a member of this forum about 9months now, won some good stuff in the first 2 months or so... I enter the dailies/weeklys/monthlys and go through the main forum and enter the competitions I like the look of on there, but is there anywhere that everyone is going because there is no way me doin this equates to 150 comps a day I recon I'm lucky if I enter 50 by doing this.. and have had a pretty dry 6 months!

I know exactly how you feel (and I suspect many others do too). It seems to me that, just when you feel like giving up, something comes along (I've just won a £120 Maxi Cosi car seat).

Then you feel the buzz and think you're on a winning streak, but nothing seems to come along and you just feel like giving up.......

Keep at it, you will get lucky

Honestly I don't think there is a trick to this, aside from just quantity quantity quantity...which it seems like you are doing, so all I can suggest is that you keep going, as long as you are not finding it too cumbersome and putting other things off to do this!! lol!!

I do think that there are more people entering though, so that must be making a difference.

I'm feeling the same!! I started comping last July and I've entered every comp on here since! (apart from tickets to things I can't get to etc) and to begin with I was getting at least a couple of wins a week. 2011 has been REALLY slow for me - I've hardly won a thing! but like everyone says, our luck will turn round, we just have to keep on comping! have you ever seen finding nemo? there's a song that dory sings that I've adopted for when I feel dispondent. Instead of "keep on swimming, keep on swimming" I chant "keep on comping, keep on comping" teehee..

I was feeling the same as you yesterday but when I got home and checked my facebook I had won a £20 voucher to spend of shoes! I think that one thing to remember is that that a lot of competitions have closing dates that are really far in the future so although it seems like you have entered a lot a lot of them are still running and haven’t announced their winners yet. Ultimately there isn’t much you can do apart from enter a lot – it’s all down to luck.

If you have a talent for creative writing or photography etc then you will have a better chance if you enter those. As a general rule, the more effort you have to put in to enter, the fewer people will bother.

Its the suprise little gifts that arrive in the post that keep me going. No winning emails doesnt always mean you havnt won. Keep going. xx

I only do effort and facebook comps, effort comps I win 1/3 that I enter. I really do put effort into it though, but I enjoy it, so not really a chore.

I seem to be having a slow start to the year as well:( so far this year I've only won a cbeebies cd from netmums which is better than nothing I guess lol:o

I was just wondering if peeps tend to win more from the daily, weekly, monthly comps or the ones posted on the main board?
I complete all the comps due to end the next day on the main board but I just don't seem to have enough hours in the day to complete the dailys etc?
Blinking kids take up far to much time lol;)
