Title says it all really...
Have come to the gut-wrenching decision to sell my beloved Hohner melodeon
Needs must, but I want to try and sell it somewhere where it's going to go to a good home as well as go for a good price.
I've looked at Ebay but not many of them seem to be selling...
Anyone got any idea where I could try?
Thanks.

Many music shops have a small ads board - usually bands looking for musicians or vice versa. Perhaps they would allow a postcard ad for your melodeon. Maybe better to try the shops which sell traditional/folk instruments like Hobgoblin (google for it) or the Music Room at Cleckheaton. They may even buy it from you. Also google for your local folk magazines. HTH0

Sorry - not anything I could add other than go to the music shops, but my main thought is that you will regret it.
After all, are you likely to be able to find the money to replace it in the future?
Seriously, I sold a Fender and amp for next to nothing when I was desperate. The next day, I received some money out of the blue which would have meant that I could have sorted my temporary problem AND still had my Fender. The buyer laughed at me when I asked if I could buy it back.
Took me 12 years to go back to music. 12 years wasted.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Thanks JoJo. May have a temporary fix... If it come up trumps then the melodeon stays. I don't play it much anymore but I love it...0

We have a hohner melodeon too but with the irish keys (or something - its OHs). What keys do you have? If english country music, there are a number of clubs that may be interested in buying it? Or Morris troops.0
