Question about loan early settlement payment

Have been told to settle my blackhorse loan will be £427 if they recieve my payment before the 7th December (After which I'm presuming the add the next month's interest...)... but my question is if I pay by electron card on the 5th as I'd originally planned would that be classed as paying before the 7th and stop anymore interest being added? Don't want to pay another month's interest for the sake of a couple of days!

I'd certainly pay with 7 days to spare. Its not worth the risk.

No it won't be classed as a payment until the funds are transfered to the account.
Even electronically this can take four days.
I would establish a contact at Black Horse in the Settlement department explain the situation and see if they are willing to accept the settlement payment on the 5th by card .
    good luck.
