Hi,
I thought I should put this here as there is a limit for the use of the £1 code plus the show is next Friday and Saturday!
If you haven't ever been you have to go to this show- it is fab in all aspects from learning stuff, networking, getting some bargains to finding out about new products and services, in a fun but eco way!
There is everything from a fashion show to a demonstration about composting to money-saving stuff!! Do help spread the word if you like the sounds of it as it is run by a worthy (without the smug!:j) Social Enterprise!
There are different zones for things to do with green living i.e. energy, home etc... plus free workshops and seminars where you can interact with authors and experts on all sorts of topics!! Check out the website.
Want to check out electric assist bikes, scooters, motorbikes ( even electric fab dirt bikes-plus kids size one from Quantya Bikes !), cars and vans for a £1 at the UK AWARE Green Machines Expo next Friday or Saturday at Olympia?
What was posted on from the email newsletter note:
"£1 UK Aware show tickets, worth £7
Register 'n' print
We’ve blagged 10,000 £1ish tickets to green and ethical lifestyle show UK Aware, on at London’s Olympia from Fri 25 - Sat 26 Mar.
How do I get it?
To get one, just enter the code £1OFFER at the UK Aware checkout. You'll have to then register and your ticket will be emailed to you.
The tickets are £1, but there's an unavoidable 7% booking fee per ticket so we've priced them at about £1.07 each. The more tickets you get the higher the booking fee will be. You can buy up to ten tickets in one transaction.
Tickets are usually £10 on the day or £7 online, so this is a great deal. What's more, kids under 16 go free with a pre-registered adult.
OAPs, disabled and those who are unemployed can get in for free but you'll have to book your tickets separately using the code CONC1, and bring ID on the day.
You’ll need to complete a short survey when you register, but UK Aware's assured us no details will be passed on (unless you tick the box to say it's ok to do so).
The deal: £1 tickets plus 7% booking fee. Valid: Fri 25/Sat 26 Mar. How: Register & print ticket. Expires: Sat 26 Mar. Excludes: Max 10 per transaction. Offer from: UK Aware. Restrictions: 10,000 available. "
Just putting this note up as I have been to the show as a visitor, and then an exhibitor PLUS this year as I thought it was so great I am giving them a hand with the above ( so I am a little biased in thinking it is pretty good!). A great day out whether a business or family with kids!
There have been a few cancellations as well so if you want to exhibit for an admin fee drop me a DM and I will pass details on to the main organisers!
Save money, save resources, save yourself from unnecessary toxic chemicals and save a nice environment for future generations I say! Lots of saving but having a fab life at the same time too please!
Alex

Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!

I should add I am doing a practical workshop on the Friday about cutting your costs, carbon footprints and exposure to unnecessary toxic chemicals nearly always all at once!! I will be "biggin'" up this site!Green and minimal chemicals is the new black- I know a fair old bit about sustainability, specially energy and transport stuff. If I can help- please ask!0

Isn't a green and ethical lifestyle show a bit of an oxymoron?
You want people to travel from all over the place to a central area to discuss less travelling and other green efforts which could be done on the internet.
I like the idea, I just wonder at yet another thing done under the "green" banner.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
