CSA rules for non-uk payroll

Hi all
I am resident in the UK, but am paid abroad. This means I'm within the CSA's jurisdiction but my salary may not be. The CSA say they can't do an assessment and my ex won't close the case. But I want to pay, the catch is I don't want to end up with CSA deciding to reassess and adding on loads of arrears for money I have already paid.
The CSA can't provide me with anything in writing to back up what they say verbally, so we are in stalemate.
Can anyone point me at definitive guidance for non-uk salaries for uk residents so I can confirm what the CSA say? Everything I find says that I am within their jurisdiction but nothing says that my salary is not.
Until I can be confident I am not going to be asked to pay twice I can't pay as the rest of my family is scraping by as it is.
Any help on the jurisdiction issue would be appreciated.

a very grey area.
as you are a UK resident then, as you say, you are in there jurisdiction.
stick to your guns and don't hand over a penny until she closes the case.
put the money aside until she sees sense or you get hit with an arrears bill.
either or. but not both!NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.0 -
Having trawled the internet, consulted solicitors and mailed anyone who would read an email I have found an answer in the most unlikely source. Posted below for anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation:

I will pay directly, but it kind of takes the pressure off knowing that arrears should't accrue.0 -

Thanks! Yes I will. The sad thing is if it wasn't for the risk of getting charged arrears I would have just set up a standing order months ago so money would be going across, but as we are struggling to get information, therefore struggling to reach agreement my ex won't agree to a payment plan so won't provide receipts.
I have just had fantastic result from NACSA so I may get a decent night sleep tonight

I think I'm going to start looking at going down this route, because I'm sick to the back teeth of having to commuincate with the CSA! Six different answers to one question.I have just had fantastic result from NACSA so I may get a decent night sleep tonight
Going way off topic
Good luck and sleep well

Thanks, I will.
Word of warning though, make sure you type in NACSA into the address bar and not NASCA0 -
No. It doesn't.

Yup it does.
I live in the UK so I am within their jurisdiction. My salary is from abroad so it is not (CSA2).
Stated by CSA, confirmed by three independent, qualified resources. If I was outside the CSA's jurisdiction my case would have been closed. If you have alternative information please share it because I am trying to understand the situation as well as possible.0
