I can never get Sainsbury to take any coupons or vouchers other than their own.

I work at Sainsburys at the weekend and in all my time I have never encountered anyone trying to use any. I would say give it a go, always go for a young lad who looks too timid to say anything!!0

I think, TBH, you will get a 'no' at Sainsburys.
They are not a store that takes any money-off coupons without purchasing the product (unlike Tesco, Asda and Waitrose who usually do as it is their accepted policy).
The only coupons I have ever 'got away with' at Sainsburys are their own (from their magazine), one or two at a time in a big shop when they are too busy to check if you bought the item. Never dared try Asda ones, especially as the barcodes scan high at the mo, I reckon Sainsburys cashiers would notice it (if they hadn't already noticed the Asda logo). IMHO you would be better using these in Tesco TBH.
Also I once used one or two extra manufacturers' coupons when handing over some that I have bought the product for, when the cashier has definitely noticed I bought some of it and assumed they were all used 'properly'. That's the only way I have used such coupons at Sainsburys.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
