i got my daughter one of these in pink from the carphone warehouse and after 8 weeks it packed up .. turns out it got wet from the rain they not covered very well at the hinges and as soon as any kind of water be it rain or condensation or anything similar gets near it it packs up as the little white dot under the battery turns red, and carphone warehouse wouldnt repair it as its classed as water damaged, so had to calim on insurance and lost excess.. so think careful about this phone

  • I say beware of any motorola phone, i had one a few years ago, and it just packed in without any water/dropping/mis-treatment of it. Terrible phone. Would never buy one again, no matter how sleek their designs.

Go to the grabbit thread and read about the Samsung E900 offer, good find by the OP. £99 mis-price. Worth a look, Samsung are excellent phones!

Dropped mine down the...well you can guess where  the other day. I noticed this red dot thing but didn't know what it was.

I took the battery and SIM out and put it in the airing cupboard to dryout overnight. Working fine again now.:D Mine's a V500 though.
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
