Credit file when changing address

Hello all,
I may be moving back to my parents for a year so I can save loads, pay off debt then move out to rented while my credit file slowly heals itself.
My parents want me to be listed on the council tax and electoral roll while I'm there. I'm fine with this.
They don't know the full extent my huge debt and I want to prevent loads of phone calls coming into them.
I am thinking of NOT changing my address with creditors and set up a royal mail forwarding service for a year.
So, the situation would be the council/government have me as living at my parents but creditors have me as living at my old address. All my post would be forwarded to my parents and I would tell creditors my landline is no good and should use my mobile number.
My question is - would my credit file still follow me to my parents address?
I am hoping once I have moved out of parents house I would then advise creditors of new address. I want my creditors and credit file to 'skip' my parents address. I don't want them flooded with phone calls, letters, bailiffs etc while I'm there or after i have gone.
Anybody know?

Credit file follows you to the address.
You will be liable for the council tax anyway as anyone living at address is liable whether you are on the bill or not.
Why bother with electoral roll, we have just had an election, but it depends on how long you are going to be there.I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

I think pretty much that once you are registered on the electoral roll, creditors would be able to trace your address there anyway and it may flag up to them why you have 2 addresses?
There is no reason why your parents should get hounding calls from your creditors as you don't have to give them your home phone number anyway, just give them your mobile?Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
You could write to your creditors requesting all further communication be in writing. You don't have to give them any phone number at all if you don't want to and they have to remove your numbers from their database if requested.0
