How long till payday?

  • Today for me! It feels like it's been a long time coming, spent the last couple of weeks cashing up pennies from our change bottle and making meals out of things that have been hanging round in the cupboards and freezer.

I'm off to do an old-style big shop (Stardrops is on my list ;) )

Best of luck lasting!! You can do it.

I have £20 left of my overdraft (it's only a £200 overdraft) and I get paid Tuesday, and then again on the 8th (job number 2). Should keep my head above water, but only if OH pays half the shopping this weekend! ;)
  • Thursday the 30th is DH's payday.. and mine is the 5th of December. Feels weird but this is the first month where we've not stressing because we've got hardly any money left at the end. We've even going to do a top up food shop tonight without worrying that we can't afford it! It feels great! Really starting to see the benefit of paying off those debts now!!

Oh and we have £173 left, no overdraft and all the bills are paid. :D
    Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
    Que sera, sera. <3
  • Payday tomorrow, payday tomorrow.

Of course have to be very tight with it as there are only 3 left but always cheers me up to be able to update the debt spreadsheet and reduce that total, even if only a little.

Proud to be dealing with my debts!

Life is like a ferrari - it goes too fast - but thats ok because I can't afford it anyway!
  • Next Thursday for me, and I have £22.48 in the bank, no o/d or credit... but a full-ish freezer and half a tank of petrol, so it's not all bad :undecided

It's been a tough month for us; the previous month saw HSBC bounce every single DD and charge me for the pleasure, so this month I've paid double on all my priority bills and token payments to other creditors, and next month after paying PayPlan our agreed amount I'll actually have some money left over and may even afford a Christmas present or 2!
