Aaarrrggh! This won't work for me.
The offer described on Quidco is that you can have the HD box, £15 self-set up and pay the £10.25 HD subscription... this same offer is confirmed on the landing page when you first go through from Quidco to Sky. However, when I press the upgrade button on the Sky site it adds a multiroom subscription to my basket too at a further £10.25 and the original offer is nowhere to be seen.
I've been through the process 3 times and looked everywhere for the non-multiroom option but I just don't get the option to add it to my basket.
Have tried adding to basket then editing my basket, but just get the same options - i.e. I must take the HD pack AND multiroom.
There is an option to just take multiroom without the HD pack but I don't know if this invalidates the Quidco offer.
Sorry for the long-winded explanation... very frustrated!!0 -
I tried to upgrade and when I sign in to My Sky I have two accounts and therefore can't upgrade online. Called to get one account removed and was told that this is not possible to do therefore I can never upgrade online and so I am unable to take advantage of the offer. I was hoping they would be able to offer this online since it is a Sky offer but they said they could not match this offer. I was very upset at being disadvantaged like this of course but they were so unhelpful and would not do anything other than keep repeating that they can not remove my second Billing Account because "IT says its cant be removed". As the Head of IT at a company, if we were to give an IT service like that to customers I would no longer be in a job!
I asked to be put through to the complaints department but was told that they do not have a complaints department and all I could do was email the complaint. I mentioned the offer was expiring tonight and if I emailed it would not be resolved tonight and I was then blamed for leaving it until the last minute!!! Eventually I realised it was going nowhere so I went online to email but noticed a number to call for complaints. I called the number and aside from asking for a home telephone number (which I do not have a landline) it then went through the different options, none of which are for making a complaint.
I gave up trying to call Sky as I am sure my phone bill was rising calling the 08 numbers and have sent the complaint by email. But as you can tell I am extremely unhappy with Sky and if it were not for me being tied into a contract till December I would have cancelled there and then with the customer service I received - unfortunately the Sky receiver/box broke in December and we had to replace and to get that free we were tied into a new 12 month contract after being with Sky since 2007 (which is further irritating me that I have been a Sky customer for so long and with having Sports and Movies along with 4 packages our bills are not small either - and I was trying to give them more business!)
Sorry for the long post but just wanted to vent some of this but also let people know the customer service received through Sky!!!0 -
