Newspaper Summary - Thursday 23rd November 2006

Good morning

Please post here if you get a Wednesday newspaper or have the chance to look through one - tell us if there are any coupons in or not.

Important details are:
The cost of the newspaper
Whether it's a regional edition
Page number
Expiry date of the voucher
Whether it's store specific and has a barcode

Remember if you go shopping look in as many newspapers as you can. Post even if you don't see any coupons, and mention any offers that you see.

Below you'll find a list of the abbreviations and how to interpret them.

MOC - Money Off Coupon
Bc - Barcode, good chance of universal scan
bc - means only selected stores scan
Xwrd - Crossword
PUZ - Puzzle
T#3 - Token 3
T2collect - Token 2 Collect (generally you have to collect numerous tokens to get the offer)

Lets hope todays a good one for coupons x

    I'm really missing Crocker

I only work mornings and it was great to be able to check Crocker's posts first thing. I know other kind people post too but (understandably) that is often later on in the day when they have read their newspaper and so I miss it.

    it.

Many many more are certainly NOT missing him.

These threads have been so much more accessible and easy to read without him. The posts are much clearer and say in proper words and sentences what offers the newspapers have. Most people hate all that code stuff...

that might be the case but with Crocker most papers had been checked.....which certainly isn't the case when he isn't around....and as for hating the code stuff - what is hard in looking for "moc"....come back Crocker.

Like to know who the 'many many more' are? No one else seems to have agreed with you so far. Why is it so hard to read Crocker's first line which clearly tells you where the money-off coupons (moc) are?

Without him I am sure we missed coupons, I think on Sunday the Sunday Express had a coupon which was eventually posted at 5.30pm, too late to go get any copies (thanks anyway to that poster).

I wonder what else we have missed, without Crocker someone who has the time will have to rifle through all the papers in Tesco again, getting funny looks from people who think you are after a free read.

Looking forward to seeing Crockers posts again soon. :o
