Does a HMRC debt show on a credit file?

Hi,
I had an 'investigation' by hmrc which resulted in my owing them £5,600.
I paid £1,600 and spoke to them today and I am going to put £2k on credit card tomorrow.
The card only has a £2k limit, I will then transfer to a 0% card with a higher limit. Once all this has been processed I will pay another £2k, transfer again then pay the remainder.

I also have an outstanding debt to them of £1,500 from my january tax bill, I am hoping to pay this off within the next 6 weeks.

Just wondering if (as tax bills are not really a credit account?) this will affect my credit status? Ie, will they currently be reporting me for late payments?
Thanks!
