Hi,
I have very dry and sensitive skin and everything seems to make me break out at the moment. I've come across this Liz Earle product and wanted to find out if anybody with sensitive skin has used this and whether it was good? Wanted some advice before I buy this as its quite pricey
Thanks

Many people love it yet others do breakout from using it. They changed the formula about 18 months removing almond milk. Many complained they could not longer use it as it now broke them out.
I did use it on and off, but since I developed roseaca stopped as it did break me out a bit. This was before the ingredient chance.
You could try buying a Try Me Kit direct from Liz Earle, you get travel sizes.0 -
I use it, but i don't have sensitive skin. But, I have used it on my niece who is now 9 (she's seen me using it and wanted to use it).
As the previous poster said, they do a 'try me kit' which is about £15. I bought this when I wanted to try the products and have been using them ever since. The great thing about the kit is that trial sizes are quite week, so it will last you about a week. I
hate it when skincare ranges only give you a days worth of product, espeically the premium brands.0 -
I think I've got relatively sensitive skin - that is, I've used 3 or 4 products in the past which have made my skin sore/red/come out in a rash.
I've been using Liz Earle cleanse and polish for years with no problems. Of course people can be sensitive to different things, so it's probably a case of try it and see. I believe I've seen Liz Earle on QVC (this was ages ago, but I know they still sell the products) saying that she had sensitive, dry, excema prone skin and had developed the range with her own skin in mind.0 -
Thank you for the replies...
QVC had an offer on yesterday with free p&p so I ended up buying it, cost me £25 for 2 100ml bottles. I've got my fingers crossed that it works for my skin, I hadn't really heard of Liz Earle before, it was recommended to me by somebody with extremely dry skin so lets see how it goes...0 -
Good luck Mrs_b, I hope your skin likes it as much as mine does - incidentally, since I wrote the last post I've actually learned how to spell eczema properly, I knew it looked wrong when I wrote it before!
Also, just remembered this, since I've been using it for so long - the first time I used it, I'd just had an operation and my skin was looking really dull and crappy after the anesthetic etc. After using the cleanse and polish for the very first time, there was such a difference, my skin just looked brighter and healthier.0 -
Yes hope it works well for you. I have very sensitive skin and I cannot use it. I find hot water dries my skin so combined with the cloth was just not suitable for my skin. I use a cream cleanser from Boots now. If you ordered from QVC and it does not suit your skin you may be able to return it for a refund. I bought some skincare a few years ago from QVC and it did not suit my skin, I sent it back and got my money back.

As you ordered from QVC ,If you don't like it send it back there is a 30 day moneyback trial period.
I've used it for years, I always try new things but i've never come across anything better.0 -
Thats great, didn't realise I could return it if it didn't suit my skin, I'll use it for 14 days to see how it works for me and then if it's no good I'll return it. I was a little worried that I had bought 2 and if I didn't like it I would be stuck using it until it finished0

I love Liz Earle, best cleanser i've used - currently also have a philosophy and an elemis one on the go.
I have quite dry skin in places and on my chin and cheeks i get break outs. My skin always looks better using Liz Earle and i really hope you like it. If you do i would suggest trying their instant skin boost tonic as it woks so well with the cleanse and polish.
You can send back anything to QVC within 30 days if you don't like it even if you ahve used half the bottle. Its really good peace of mind.0 -
i used to use this but have had to stop as the new formula irritated my skin
I now use Bobby Brown cleansing balm at night and Simple cleansing gel in the morning and neither irrittates my skin0
