new credit card?

Hello, so I just paid off my first credit card!! and its in the back of the cupboard for absolute emergencies only.

I want some advice on what to do next. We have two other credit cards 1 of which will be gone by august if we manage to stick to the plan. Our credit ratings are both in the 'fair' categories in experian and equifax BUT the largest credit card debt doesn't show up there yet, so this might change soon.

Should I apply for a 0% credit card or just push on with paying down the debt? Will it look bad if I get turned down? Am I likely to get turned down because I already have a big balance?
Thanks!!

Ring up the credit card you have paid off (maybe wait a month or so so you don't seem desperate) and brightly ask if they have any special offers for balance transfers. Don't, however, get pressurised into accepting anything before you have had time to think it over and decide if it is right for you.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,
