Wedding Invitation Font

Hi, I'm just starting to think about designing my invitations now and I was wondering what type of font is most popular when making your own invitations?? There are so many types of font that I am now starting to confuse myself lol

Any help/suggestions would be most appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation of your suggestions :):)

It depends what sort of look or theme your wedding is having?
Do you like traditional style invites or more contemporary themes?

Edwardian Script is very popular if you'd like a traditional, swirly type text for your names etc, but its not very easy to read for the main text parts.
I have customers that love Lucida Calligraphy for their main text. Its sort of traditional in a handwritten style but its easy to read.

I really like the Monterey BT font too. theres places you can download it from for free.

Let me know if you need any more help!

Ha I'm such a geek - I have 'favourite' fonts! I really like Arial, Helventia, and Century Gothic. :) We've gone with the latter. (But I am having modern/contemporary invites, and the general theme is no frills and swirls :) )

Depending on the theme, Scriptina is very 'weddingy'

I also like 'Loved by the King' for something more readable

I have also used 'Champagne and Limousines' on some work I did recently which is more modern and a bit cooler

On our wedding invites, we used Words of Love and I made my friends invites as well, and for that one we used Mc Sweetie Hearts, both from dafonts, and they look amazing when printed. http://www.dafont.com/theme.php?cat=801
You're so very special, I wish I was special

We've used "Harrington" for ours...a little fancy, but still quite modern...
