Cavendish Online

Hello All,
Im keen to start a pension and think Cavendish online may be the way to do it; but I need some advice
Im 28, earn approx £27K p/a and do not currently pay into a pension; From appearances it would seem as though Cavendish would help me make up some lost ground?
I can afford to pay £80 - £120 a month into my pension at the moment but dont have a clue which of their pension providers would give me the best Return, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in Advance
Matt

Why just Cavendish?
Are you able to choose your own funds or will you need help with that?Im 28, earn approx £27K p/a and do not currently pay into a pension;
Is there no employer pension where employer contributes? From appearances it would seem as though Cavendish would help me make up some lost ground?

A pension is only a tax wrapper - its' the investments inside that decide the return. What provider gives you access to the funds you want to use?0 -
Thanks for the response.in answer to your questions:
1- yes I can can choose my own funds
2- no my employer does not offer pension contributions scheme
3- because cavendish avoids the ANC charge this seemed a useful way of topping up the amount
4- at this moment in time I open to advice on which providers are most suitable for my situation.
Thanks again for the help0 -

No it doesnt. Cavendish offer a limited panel of pensions (mostly mono charged versions) which have a reduced AMC. It doesnt remove it altogether.4- at this moment in time I open to advice on which providers are most suitable for my situation.

Well that was useful!
We have nothing to go on to narrow it down any more.
How do you want to invest?
Will be an active investor or lazy investor?
what contribution levels do you want to make?
how long is the term?
are you likely to use unsecured income or secured income option?
what features do you want?
what indexation level on the contributions? (not all providers offer indexation)
They are just some of the things to consider.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
