M&S Managers reductions?

Options
My nearest big M&S is at the Metrocentre. They have had a sale on and then further reductions.

Just wondered if anyone had heard if they were going to do managers reductions? and if so when?

Cheers

If any help, Managers reductions HAD NOT started in Oxford Street, as of Monday lunchtime.

From memory the March end of season reductions take place towards the end of the week. The past two years have been a Friday.

However, that's not to say it won't be the case this year.........
  • The M&S Home store at the Trafford Centre had Managers reductions today - I picked up a lovely pair of curtains for £29 - reduced from £149. Very pleased:)

Ok, popped into M&S Oxford St lunchtime, not quite the usual Manager Reductions, however there was a further reduction of the price on some items.

For example the shirt I brought scanned at £9.00 which the cashier reduced to £5.00.

She told me she was using a print off given by supervisor, basically if item scans at XX she would reduce it further to YY, which seemed to be roughly four pounds an item. It was ok for the shirt, but other bits I'd scavanged, such as Trousers the discount was not so good.

Certainly didnt appear to be the usual £3.00 for this, £5.00 for that, which is normally used.

    Anyway, hope this helps.

The reductions were done differently this time - stores had list from head office as mentioned above as what to reduce items to - not the normal way when individual managers can decide. Thus the reductions are not as good as usual.
