Sainsbury - Fuel Discount

Hope that this is where this belongs.. and I couldnt find it on any other post!

Went into my local Sainsburys today, spent over £50 and got a 5p off a litre of fuel voucher. The cashier seemed shocked because she didnt know that it was on.
Went straight from there to the Sainsbury petrol station, filled up, gave my 'voucher' to the cashier... and even she was shocked.
Seems that they are only doing it for a week. No banners were up on the roadside either.
:j
FYI - It was Sainsburys Ashford Kent.

  • I heard an advert on local radio about this. Don't know how long it's on for. I'm going to Sainsbury today and planning to spend over £50 and get petrol so I'll let you know how I get on.

They ran something similar in August I think, but it only lasted for a week.
  • Got my voucher today (Torquay) valid 14 days

They put the petrol up sometimes when doing this, only thing to watch out for!
  • Went to Sainsbury in Kirkcaldy today. Got my voucher valid 14 days. The promotion appears to end 2nd December. Presumably that means they won't be giving out the vouchers after 2nd December but you can still redeem ones you already have, provided you do so within 14 days of receiving them.
