Loan applications i have not made

Hi I hope you can help me.
Recently i have been receiving letters and phone calls about loan applications i have not made. Today i was rang about a loan for £3000 for debt consolidation and payday loans. The original loan was declined so had been passed onto them. I have spoken to the company (cant remember what they are called its written down) who are going to investigate and call me back tomorrow. Another company called Strawberry finance had passed my details on but when i rang them and queried it they had no record of me. It seems the loans are being applied for from my old address and as im no longer on the electoral roll there its being declined. Iv checked Expirian and no searches or accounts are showing that are not mine. Iv told the bank that there may be a problem somewhere with someone using my details. I have not used any comparison sites. I had a letter a few weeks ago from a guarantor loan company but it went to my old address and it was passed on. I thought it was spam so binned it. Im now having cold calling. Is there anything else i should be doing. Im worried about this and its making me feel a bit weird people using my details to get loans. Iv got a good credit record and am worried that they may drop lucky soon.
Is there any way of having personal details removed from all these databases.

You might want to look into CIFAS protective registration - which makes it harder for people to take out credit in your name.

    Xmas Saver!
What TIX said - puts a password on your credit file, so companies can only give credit when you give them the password. Unfortunately it shows as a fraud marker so makes it a longer process for you to get credit.
