Her ex has now offered to pay half and frederickson international are now calling her 10 times a day.

When she gets the cheque from her husband, does she pay thames water of the debt collector. Should she liaise with the debt collector? Help!

Pay Thames Water direct and annoy the DCA.
I all have learnt is from others on many sites.
    Seek legal help if unsure.
Dont pay Private Parking tickets - they are mere invoices.

    PRESS THANKS

I'd check with Thames Water first - but yes, if you can still pay Thames Water direct, do so! They may say you have to pay the DCA now, though, which is why I suggest you check - no point in having a large credit with them and a DCA still chasing!

I had one the other day, debt collector letter usual rubbish, waited for next letter from the sols. Called up Anglian Water and paid direct. They had no issues at all.

But what can the DCA do, nothing at all.

Yes, exactly, if paying TW clears the outstanding debt. :)

Mind you, since when was not being able to legally do anything a 100% guarantee of stopping a DCA at the first time of trying? :rotfl:Still, they all go down in the end once they've been kicked enough times - up to personal discretion as to which body part is visualised receiving the kicking, of course ;)
