Hi everyone,
Looking to get married in Sept this year but the prices are crazy! Does anyone know of any nice venues in yorkshire/manchester that allow you to bring in your own caterers?
Thank you for all your help

Hi,
What area of Yorkshire are you looking at?Marrying the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :j0 -
Thanks for your reply... am based in Leeds but don't mind travelling anywhere in north or west yorkshire...0

We struggled to find anywhere in West Yorkshire where we could bring in our own food/drink...we didn't end up going down that route in the end but Victoria Hall in Saltaire is nice and you can do everything like that yourselves. Corkage is free so you could save a fortune on drink!
Hope that helps.0 -
I'm fairly certain these guys let you bring in outside caterers: Woodlands hotel It's just outside Leeds. I think it does, as I know someone getting married there this year and I think they are bringing in kosher caterers (as they are jewish
) worth asking? Good luck

hi
i know of a hotel in Gomersal (just outside Bradford) that has a marque that you can hire http://www.gomersallodge.co.uk/weddings.html my friend worked there last year as this is new to this hotel as only been there a year but you can hire it just on its own or they can hire with food and a bar.0 -
the merchant adventurers hall in york lets you choose from 5 approved caterers if that's any use?

Check out Leeds 17 in Alwoodley. They've got two lovely function rooms depending on your party size, and although they insist on doing the catering their three course menu starts from £20 per head. You can't have it on the 8th September next year though, it's mine!!
The planner's lovely, if you want her details PM me and I'll send you her email address. They only take a deposit of £100 to secure your date as well, which is much better than everywhere else we looked who wanted up to 50% in advance! And if you drop my name in I might get a discount! lolGetting married 02.08.14
Wins for the wedding: membership for a 'wedsite' and app, £35 gift voucher for party supplies shop, £50 worth of hand painted signs, 1kg of heart shaped marshmallows :money:0 -
Try the councils - we went to see a hall in West Vale near Halifax that belongs to Calderdale Council, where you could take in your own caterers. It was a lovely spot, but not quite right for us.
Enjoy!0 -
Thanks guys! Will check out some of those suggestions...
Good luck with all your planning x0
