got pointed in this direction as apparently best place to come

basically the situation is due to my inexperiance with loans , i was quite happy going through quotes on money supermarket etc and found some that were what was after . but didnt realise just by going through them on the net i was actually applying , i qualified for the tesco one of whcih they sent me the paperwork for but due to a change (the car was no longer available) i just rang them cancelled and binned it , a week later the car was available again but this time the loan was refused as i had applyed to many times. now im stuck as the car im after is available but i can no longer get the loan my circumstances havnt changed atall but i guess i have damaged my credit rateing by applying to many times to diffrent people to get the best price

anyway way around my crappy situation ? im going to go to my bank (lloyds tsb) and explain and see if they can help me in any way can anyone recommend some help or assitance

You will probably find it very hard to secure a loan as there were to many applications made at the one time and as far as any lender will look at this they will either see you as desperate or trying to gain as much credit as you can.

I think your only option will be to wait for 6 months or so and then re apply for a loan with one company and await there answer, either that or look elsewhere for the finance you require ie:- family if poss.
